A. The BLUE box is a piece of this historical map, from 1695. Even for
the standards of the time, the spellings are seriously awry in places.
B, C, D, E, F, G. The
RED boxes are photos of the 1973 Ordnance Survey 1:50000 Dorchester-Weymouth
sheet. Villages and farms of Jesty interest are highlighted in yellow. The
OS grid is shown (faint blue), with major grid markers included. The scale
varies a bit: the OS grid squares are 1 x 1 km.
